Alican Yücesoy

Alican Yücesoy is a well-known Turkish actor who is recognized for his extensive work in both theater and film. Born on October 22, 1982 in Istanbul, Turkey, Yücesoy studied acting at the Halic University Conservatory. His career began with appearances in various stage productions, in which he demonstrated his versatility and depth as an actor. One of his most recent and notable roles was in LA BELLE INDIFFERENCE (2023), directed by Kivanç Sezer, where he plays the lead character Onur. The film celebrated its world premiere at the 76th Locarno Film Festival and earned him international recognition. Yücesoy switched to film acting and gained great recognition in Turkey for his roles in television series such as “Subat” and “Vicdan”. He appeared in significant films such as “Zenne Dancer” (2012) by Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay and “Inside” (2012) by Zeki Demirkubuz, which further cemented his reputation as a talented actor. Other notable works include “Winter Sleep” (2014), directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, and “The Wild Pear Tree” (2018), also by Ceylan. He took on a central role in the hit Netflix series “Ethos” (2020), created by Berkun Oya.
