André Hennicke is a German actor who has played memorable roles in arthouse and mainstream cinema. In RECYCLING MEDEA: NOT AN OPERA BALLET FILM (2013, directed by Asteris Kutulas), he appears in an experimental music film project that combines dance, opera elements, and documentary. In DIE VERMISSTEN (2012, directed by Jan Speckenbach), he plays in the context of an urban missing persons story; the film was screened at the Berlinale in 2012. UNSER LETZTER SOMMER (2015, directed by Michal Rogalski) places Hennicke in a historical drama about a German-Polish love story shortly before the end of the war. JONATHAN (2016, directed by Piotr J. Lewandowski) shows him alongside a young ensemble in a family and coming-of-age drama that was presented in the Berlinale's Panorama section in 2016. In addition, Hennicke has been making his mark for years in supporting and leading roles in cinema productions and TV works.
