Andreas Kunze is a German director who completed his studies at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. His short film "Höhenflüge" (Highs, 2018) was screened at festivals such as Filmfest Dresden. He gained further attention in the film industry with his graduation feature, "Die kostbaren Überreste" (The Precious Remains, 2023). For this work, Kunze was nominated for the prestigious First Steps Award in the feature-length film category.
