Danish filmmaker Anna Ladegaard graduated from the directing program at The National Film School of Denmark in 2023. Her graduation short film, 'Englemageren' (The Angel Maker, 2023), received significant attention at international festivals, including a screening in competition at the 2024 Max Ophüls Preis film festival. Furthermore, the work garnered nominations for the prestigious Danish Robert Award and the German FIRST STEPS Award. The film was also awarded the 2023 international CILECT Prize in the fiction category.
