Akram has also directed other acclaimed works such as "Wajma (An Afghan Love Story)" and "The Night of Henna." His films often explore themes of Afghan culture, war, and societal issues. Akram has received several awards for his work, including the Best Director Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
