Beata Śliwińska

The Polish filmmaker Beata Śliwińska, born in Radom in 1993, graduated in directing from the Warsaw Film School. She gained significant attention on the international stage with her short film 'Drżenia' (Tremors, 2022). The work explores a physically disabled teenager's discovery of his own sexuality. For her work, Śliwińska received numerous accolades, including a Special Mention at the Krakow Film Festival in 2022. The film was also nominated for the Grand Prix at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2023 and for the Polish Film Award 'Orzeł'.
