Camille Ménager is a French director. A historian by training, Camille Ménager writes and directs history documentaries. She is particularly interested in cross-cutting issues between history and memory, women in history and the history of war images. A former director for France 3's history magazine L'Ombre d'un doute, she has, over the past ten years, written and/or directed documentaries on different themes, characters and eras: SEARCHING FOR GERDA TARO, documenting the life of the first female war photgrapher. Aux arts et cætera, documentaries in tune with the cultural agenda and major upcoming exhibitions, films to mark major anniversaries in the creative world, without forgetting contemporary culture with films about artists. Klaus Barbie, sur les traces d'un criminel nazi, investigating the life and crimes of the Wehrmacht officer.
