Caroline Peters was born on September 7, 1971, in Mainz and completed her acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Saarbrücken. She gained international recognition through the crime series Mord mit Aussicht, in which she played detective Sophie Haas from 2008 to 2014. Her film credits include Walk on Water (2004, directed by Eytan Fox), Schöne Frauen (2004, directed by Sathyan Ramesh), Prinzessin (2006, directed by Birgit Grosskopf), and Torpedo (2008, directed by Helene Hegemann). She has also played other outstanding roles in Der Vorname (2018, directed by Sönke Wortmann), Womit haben wir das verdient? (2018, directed by Eva Spreitzhofer), Der Nachname (2022), Junges Licht (2016, directed by Adolf Winkelmann), and Die Unschärferelation der Liebe (2023).
