Born in 1966 in Waidhofen an der Thaya, director and screenwriter Christian Frosch studied at the Vienna Film Academy and the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. His feature film debut *Total Therapy* (1996) received international awards. Frosch gained significant recognition for his later works, especially for *From Now On No Turning Back* (2014), which won the Grand Diagonale Prize in 2015. His multi-award-winning courtroom drama *Murer – Anatomy of a Trial* (2018) received the Austrian Film Award for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay, among other honors, and was also recognized with the main prize at the Diagonale festival.
