Daniel Hendler

Daniel Hendler is an Uruguayan actor and director known for his work in both the Argentine and international film industries. He gained prominence for his role in the 2001 film "Esperando al Mesías" (Waiting for the Messiah), directed by Daniel Burman. Hendler later collaborated with Burman again in "El Abrazo Partido" (Lost Embrace) (2004), which earned him the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival. Other notable films in Hendler's career include "Derecho de Familia" (Family Law) (2006), also directed by Burman, and "El Fondo del Mar" (The Bottom of the Sea) (2003). As a director, Hendler directed the feature film "Norberto's Deadline" (2010) and "El Candidato" (The Candidate) (2016), showcasing his versatility and talent behind the camera as well.
