Danielle Horvat, born July 10, 1991 in Melbourne, Australia, is a talented actress who became known through her diverse roles in film and television. Her career began with the role of Taylah Jordan in the popular Australian soap opera “Neighbours” (2007–2008). She then played the character of Skye Sailendra in the series “Snake Tales” (2009). Horvat reached a significant milestone in her career with her portrayal of Jessica “Gap Girl” Bird in the series “Sea Patrol” (2010–2011), which was directed by Geoff Bennett, Steve Mann and others. In 2018, she took on the role of Ameena Nasser in the drama SLAM, directed by Partho Sen-Gupta. The film deals with the disappearance of a young Muslim poetry slammer and the subsequent social tensions.
