Darya Plakhtiy

The Ukrainian actress Darya Plakhtiy completed her training at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. She gained recognition for her leading role in the drama *Falling* (original title: *Strimgolov*, 2017), for which she was awarded Best Actress at the Odesa International Film Festival. This performance also earned her a nomination for the Ukrainian National Film Award, the Golden Dzyga. Her other work includes the short film *Baba* (2018), which was screened in the Cinéfondation section at the Cannes Film Festival. More recently, she appeared in the historical film *Dovbush* (2023).
