Detlef Bothe is a German actor, filmmaker, and multi-talented artist. He is known for his versatility: he appears as an actor (e.g. in Spectre as Bond's “henchman”) as well as a writer, director, and producer—for example, in his multi-award-winning film FEIERTAG (2002) and the indie highlights DEINE SCHÖNE HÖLLE and EVA S. - DIE NATIONALISTIN. Particularly memorable: he played Reinhard Heydrich several times, including in Anthropoid (2016). He is a member of the German Film Academy and stands for courageous, cross-genre cinema work.
