Devid Striesow
Actor
Born in 1973 in Bergen auf Rügen, actor Devid Striesow completed his training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. His career encompasses an impressive range of roles in cinema and television. He became known to a wide audience through his role as Chief Inspector Jens Stellbrink in the Saarbrücken "Tatort" (2013–2019) and his portrayal of Hape Kerkeling in "I'm Off Then" (2015). He has received numerous awards for his acting work, including the German Film Award for his role in "Distant Lights" (2003). More recently, he appeared internationally in the multi-Oscar-winning film "All Quiet on the Western Front" (2022).
