The French screenwriter and filmmaker Elisabeth Perceval is known for her long-standing creative partnership with director Nicolas Klotz. Together, they wrote the screenplays for numerous films, including 'Paria' (2000), which received a Special Mention from the Ecumenical Jury at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Their works, which often deal with social marginalization, have been repeatedly presented at the Cannes Film Festival in the Directors' Fortnight section, such as 'La Blessure' (2004) and 'La Question humaine' (2007). In addition to her work as a writer, also for other filmmakers like Philippe Garrel, she co-directed 'Low Life' (2011) with Klotz.
