Eric Caravaca

The French actor and director Eric Caravaca, born in 1966, completed his training at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris. For his role in the film *What's Life?* (1999), he was awarded the César for Most Promising Actor in 2000. His filmography as a performer also includes works such as *The Officers' Ward* (2001), for which he received another César nomination, and Patrice Chéreau's *His Brother* (2003). Alongside his acting career, he also works as a filmmaker; his documentary *Plot 35* (2017) was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
