Franziska von Stenglin
Director
Franziska von Stenglin (born in 1984 in Munich) grew up in the Czech Republic, Senegal, India, and Germany. She completed her artistic training at the London University of the Arts (B.A. in Fine Arts Photography) and at the Städel School in Frankfurt in 2013. She works primarily with photography and video, but also with installations and sculptures. The documentary film “Pa Va Heng” (“The Dust of Modern Life”) is her first feature-length film. It had its world premiere in July 2021 in competition at the Marseille International Film Festival.
