Gisa Flake, born on October 10, 1985, in Braunschweig, is a German actress, singer, and cabaret artist. After training at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding, she began her professional career in 2010 and has impressed audiences both on stage and on camera. Her film credits include SAG DU ES MIR (2019, directed by Michael Fetter Nathansky), a multi-award-winning episodic film in which she played a central role. Her performance was recognized with the German Acting Award, among others. Another current project is ÜBERLEBEN IN BRANDENBURG (2024, directed by Zoltan Paul and Ben von Grafenstein), a comedy with a socio-political background in which she is part of the ensemble. She has also appeared in numerous film and television productions. She made her early appearances in Wickie und die starken Männer (Vicky the Viking) and Wickie auf großer Fahrt (Vicky the Viking: The Great Voyage). This was followed by roles in the series Bully macht Buddy (Bully Makes Buddy) and the thriller miniseries Blochin – Die Lebenden und die Toten (Blochin – The Living and the Dead). From 2018 to 2022, she appeared in the popular series Ella Schön as village shop owner Henni Gottschalk. Since 2021, she has been part of the ensemble of the ZDF satirical show heute-show, and in 2024 she took on the role of Inspector Alexandra Luschke in Polizeiruf 110. With this mix of cinema, television, cabaret, and music, Gisa Flake has established herself as a versatile artist. She is considered a charismatic performer who uses her comedic talent as confidently as her ability to deliver intense drama.
