Godehard Giese
Actor
The actor and director Godehard Giese completed his training at the Berlin University of the Arts. He became known to a wide audience for his roles in internationally successful series such as *Babylon Berlin* and the *Deutschland* trilogy. His versatile film work includes appearances in award-winning cinema productions, among them Christian Petzold's drama *Transit* (2018) and Maren Ade's *Toni Erdmann* (2016). In addition to his work as a performer, Giese is also active as a writer and director. His feature film debut *Die Geschichte vom Astronauten* (The Story of the Astronaut) (2014) premiered in competition at the Max Ophüls Prize film festival.
