Hany Abu-Assad

Hany Abu-Assad is a Palestinian film director and screenwriter known for his critically acclaimed work. He gained international recognition for his films "Paradise Now" (2005), which won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, and "Omar" (2013), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Throughout his career, Abu-Assad has focused on telling powerful and thought-provoking stories about the Palestinian experience.
