Helen Silvander

The director and writer Helen Silvander is studying Scenic Direction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. She gained attention with her short film 'Biotop' (2024), which was created as her application film for the academy. The work was selected for the competition at the renowned Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival 2024, among others. Prior to her film education, Silvander had already completed a degree in Cultural and Media Education.
