Hugo Chauvel

Born in 1993, Hugo Chauvel is a French-Swiss filmmaker and a graduate of the directing department at the Paris-based film school La Fémis. His graduation film, "Villégiature" (2022), gained international recognition and was screened at numerous festivals. For this work, he received the Pardino d'argento at the 2022 Locarno Film Festival. The short film's successful run continued at festivals such as Premiers Plans d'Angers and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
