Isalinde Giovangigli

Born in Corsica in 1991, filmmaker Isalinde Giovangigli completed her studies at Le Fresnoy – National Studio for Contemporary Arts. Her documentary short film "Jeune bergère" (2019) gained significant attention and won several awards, including the Grand Prix at the Entrevues Belfort film festival. The work was also shortlisted for the 2021 César Award for Best Documentary Short Film. Her subsequent short film, "Aya" (2021), was selected for the Cinéfondation section of the Cannes Film Festival.
