The British director and screenwriter Joanna Hogg, born in London in 1960, graduated from the National Film and Television School. Her feature film debut, "Unrelated" (2007), won the FIPRESCI Prize at the London Film Festival and established her observational style. She gained widespread international recognition for her highly autobiographical films "The Souvenir" (2019) and its sequel, "The Souvenir Part II" (2021). For the first part, she received the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, among other accolades. Her work "The Eternal Daughter" (2022) continued her recurring collaboration with the actor Tilda Swinton.
