John Fraser

The Scottish actor John Fraser (1931–2020) was active in the British and international film and theatre scene for several decades. He completed his training at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). His most significant film roles include appearances in the war film "The Dam Busters" (1955) and Roman Polański's psychological thriller "Repulsion" (1965). For his performance in "The Trials of Oscar Wilde" (1960), he received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best British Actor. Later in life, he largely withdrew from acting and worked as an author.
