Judith Engel, born in Potsdam in 1969, is an actor who completed her training at the 'Ernst Busch' Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. Her extensive stage career led her to become a permanent ensemble member at renowned theaters such as the Schaubühne Berlin and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. She has been honored multiple times for her outstanding performances, including with the Alfred Kerr Acting Prize and as Actress of the Year by the trade magazine Theater heute in 2001. In addition to her theater work, she regularly appears in film and television productions. Her well-known cinema works include *The Architect* (2008), *The Silent Comrades* (2022), for which she received a German Film Award nomination, and the internationally acclaimed drama *The Teachers' Lounge* (2023).
