Jule Böwe, born Kathrin Cammann in Rostock in 1969, is a German actress who is particularly known for her portrayal of psychologically damaged characters. After training as an occupational therapist, she began her acting career in the mid-1990s and has been a permanent member of the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz theater company since 1999. In the film ALLTAG (2003, directed by Neco Çelik), she plays the role of Franka Bischoff in a drama about everyday life in multicultural Kreuzberg. She has had other notable film roles in Katze im Sack (2005), Gefangene (2006), and Schwerkraft (2009), each marked by intense acting. Jule Böwe has been a familiar face on television for many years. She has appeared in Tatort, Polizeiruf 110, Bella Block, and Der Tatortreiniger. She has also appeared in series such as Schwarze Schafe – Die Serie!, Blochin – Die Lebenden und die Toten and Die Stadt und die Macht.
