Karsten Mielke is a German director and screenwriter. He completed his directing studies at the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University. His feature film debut and graduation project, "The Procedure" (Die Maßnahme, 2023), explores themes of radicalization and state surveillance. The work garnered significant acclaim, winning the Film Art Award for Best Feature Film at the 2023 Festival of German Cinema.
