Laetitia Masson, born on August 18, 1966, in Épinal, France, is a renowned French director, screenwriter, and occasional actress. She studied at La Fémis and made her debut with En avoir (ou pas) (1995), which earned its lead actress a César nomination. Her best-known recent film is SUMMER FROST (original title: Un hiver en été) (2023, directed by Laetitia Masson). The episodic film poetically tells the story of ten lost souls who meet during an unusual cold spell in France in the summer.
