The Norwegian filmmaker Louise Tofte Røiri, born in 1993, completed her directing studies at the Westerdals School of Arts, Communication and Technology in Oslo. Her graduation film, the 2024 short 'Bad Lesbian' ('Dårlig lesbisk'), was selected for the competition at the Norwegian Short Film Festival and the 'New Nordic Voices' section of the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival. With this work, she gained initial attention in the Nordic film industry. She previously directed the short film 'Hvorfor er du hore?' in 2018.
