Lula Cucchiara

Lula Cucchiara is an Argentinian-born, New Zealand-based filmmaker working as a director and producer. Her feature debut, the documentary *Fiona Clark: Unafraid* (2021), premiered at the New Zealand International Film Festival. For this work, Cucchiara received a nomination for Best Director at the 2022 New Zealand Television Awards. In her films, which include the short *Within the Coven* (2019), she often focuses on queer and migrant narratives.
