Marian Freistühler is moved by the moving image. He writes/directs and produces (short) films. His debut DIE GEHEIMNISVOLLEN INSELN (2021), produced while he studied at the Hochschule für bildenden Künste (HfbK) and was screened at festivals in Clermont-Ferrand, Hof, Dresden, Berlin, Leeds and Tel-Aviv, among others. In May 2024, his first mini-series "Brüt" was released.
