Marta Prokopová

Director

Marta Prokopová is a Slovak director, animator, and producer. After studying animation at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, she co-founded and now co-runs the production company Artichoke. Her cinematic work includes the animated short films *Mila Fog* (2015) and *Wild Beasts* (Divoké stvoření, 2023), which was screened at several festivals. Her works are characterized by a poetic and often surreal visual language, with *Mila Fog* winning an award at the Fest Anča animation festival, among other recognitions.
