Michael J. Epstein is an American filmmaker who earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering before his career as a director and producer. Together with his creative partner Sophia Cacciola, he primarily develops projects in the independent horror genre. His notable directorial works include feature films such as *Blood of the Tribades* (2016) and the social media satire *Clickbait* (2019). For the latter film, he received the Best Director award at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, among other accolades. His works are regularly screened at international genre film festivals.
