Milord Jean-Baptiste is a Haitian filmmaker based in Paris. He completed his cinema studies at the Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis. He gained international recognition with his 2023 short film "Le fils du fossoyeur" (The Gravedigger's Son). The work was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, the Locarno Film Festival, and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, among others. In addition to his work as a director and screenwriter, Jean-Baptiste is also active as an actor, for example in the 2023 film "Guet-apens".
