The Polish actor Mirosław Baka, born in 1963, completed his training at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław. He had his international breakthrough with his first major film role as Jacek Łazar in Krzysztof Kieślowski's powerful work 'A Short Film About Killing' (1988). For this performance, he was named Best Actor at the Gdynia Film Festival and was nominated for the European Film Award. In addition to his extensive stage work, primarily at the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk, the performer has appeared in numerous film and television productions, including 'Jack Strong' (2014) and the series 'Klangor' (2021).
