Monia Chokri is a Canadian actress and filmmaker known for her work in the film industry. She gained recognition for her role in the critically acclaimed film "Les Amours Imaginaires" (Heartbeats) directed by Xavier Dolan. Chokri made her directorial debut with the film "La Femme de mon frère" (A Brother's Love), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. She won the Cesar Award for Best First Feature Film for her directorial work.
