Nathalie Delon

The French actor and director Nathalie Delon, born in Morocco in 1941, gained international recognition for her role as Jane Lagrange in Jean-Pierre Melville's classic film *Le Samouraï* (1967). Starring alongside her then-husband Alain Delon, she established herself as a distinctive performer in European cinema and also appeared in Melville's later work *Army of Shadows* (1969). Later in her career, Delon also emerged as a filmmaker. She directed two feature films, including *Ils appellent ça un accident* (1982) and *Sweet Lies* (1988), for which she also wrote the screenplays. Nathalie Delon passed away in Paris in 2021.
