Filmmaker Nicole Dogue studied scenic direction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Her graduation short film, 'Allein' (2020), gained attention at various festivals, earning her several awards and nominations. The work was nominated for the Max Ophüls Prize in 2021 and won the Audience Award at the Landshut Short Film Festival. In 2020, the film also received a nomination for the FIRST STEPS Award. Her earlier works include the short film 'A Short Film about Us' (2018).
