Nina Hoger made her film debut in 1979 in the television play “Fallstudien.” She gained widespread recognition for her role in the youth drama “Flucht nach vorn” (Escape Forward), for which she was awarded the German Film Prize. This was followed by numerous roles in productions such as “Kommissarin Goedecke,” “Die Bertinis,” “Die Dienstagsfrauen,” “Tatort,” “Um Himmels Willen,” and “SOKO Köln.” Her roles range from haunting character studies to pointed supporting characters in series contexts. The family drama impressed not only with its dense staging, but also with the harmonious interplay between the two actresses.
