Paco Gómez, born in Madrid in 1971, is a Spanish photographer and filmmaker whose works often explore the boundaries between photography and documentary cinema. His directorial work 'Los que se quedan' (2021) was selected for the DOC.España section of the Valladolid International Film Festival (Seminci), among other venues. He previously co-directed the film 'El hombre que embotelló el sol' (2016) with Oskar Santos. Many of his projects, including his acclaimed photobook 'Los Modlin', are based on intensive research processes and engagement with found archives.
