Director and screenwriter Puviraj Raveendran is a graduate of the Internationale Filmschule Köln (ifs). His graduation film, the medium-length feature "Cargo" (2023), premiered in competition at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. For this work, Raveendran also received a nomination for the FIRST STEPS Award in 2023. His earlier projects as a filmmaker include the short film "U U U" (2020).
