Rebecca Zlotowski is a French film director and screenwriter known for her work in the French film industry. She came to prominence with her feature film debut DEAR PRUDENCE (fr.: Belle Épine) (2010), which won the Louis Delluc Award for Best First Feature. DEAR PRUDENCE tells the story of a rebellious teenager, played by Léa Seydoux, who is searching for a sense of belonging and self-discovery after the death of her mother.
