Filmmaker Ryan Ali is a graduate of the renowned London Film School. His short film 'Salam' (2018) was created as part of the London Calling development scheme, supported by Film London and the BFI NETWORK. The film celebrated its premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Short Film. His subsequent work, 'Haj' (2023), also garnered international attention and was selected for the Palm Springs International ShortFest, among other festivals.
