The filmmaker Sebastian Schneider graduated from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His graduation project, the documentary film "MAMAN" (2022), celebrated its world premiere at DOK.fest München. For this personal work, which explores his own family history, he was honored with the prestigious FIRST STEPS Award in 2022. His earlier work includes the short film "Die Verwaltung des Waldes" (The Administration of the Forest) (2018).
