Sophia Sabella

Director

Sophia Sabella is a New York-based filmmaker and a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Together with Pablo C. Garcîa, she co-directed and co-wrote the short film 'Edge of the Woods' (2021). The work gained significant attention through its official selection for the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. The film, which explores coming-of-age in a rural setting, was also screened at other festivals such as the Woodstock Film Festival.
