Stefan Rudolf was born on January 15, 1974, in Rathenow and is a German actor with a diverse career in film, television, and theater. After training as a toolmaker, he studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1996 to 2000. His first engagements took him to various Berlin stages. Since 2003, Rudolf has been regularly active in film and television productions. His best-known feature films include GISELA from 2005, directed by Isabelle Stever, in which he played the lead role of Georg, Schläft ein Lied in allen Dingen (2009, directed by Andreas Struck), Glückliche Fügung (2010, directed by Isabelle Stever), Grand Jeté (2022, directed by Isabelle Stever), and Fräulein Stinnes fährt um die Welt (2009, directed by Erica von Moeller). He has appeared in television series such as Die Chefin (2012-2017, ZDF), SOKO Leipzig, GSG 9 – Ihr Einsatz ist ihr Leben, Der Bulle von Tölz, Tatort, Marie fängt Feuer, Der Landarzt and Morden im Norden. In 2024, he appeared in the television film Ewig dein. For his acting performances, Stefan Rudolf received the 2007 Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award DER MUNGO. Rudolf lives and works in Berlin and has established himself with his multifaceted performances in German films and series.
