Tamara Semzov is an actress born in Kharkiv who entered the German-speaking theater and film industry after completing her training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Her artistic work combines precise characterization with a clear presence, which has established her both in theater and in front of the camera. She attracted attention early on through her participation in modern and classical productions and, together with her ensemble, received the prize at the 25th Schauspielschultreffen (Actors' School Meeting) in Munich for the production Katzelmacher. A central part of her filmography is JUNK SPACE BERLIN from 2022, directed by Juri Padel. In it, Semzov plays the role of Blue, a tech-savvy character in a dystopian Berlin characterized by fragmented realities. The film has been presented at international festivals and highlights her ability to portray complex characters in a genre setting with clarity and sensitivity. Other camera work includes the 2019 short film Krim, in which she plays the role of Arina. The production follows an atmospherically dense narrative style and underscores Semzov's interest in characters who oscillate between personal vulnerability and determined action. Parallel to her film projects, her theater work remains a constant part of her profile. Particularly influential was her solo work Malenkaya Strana – Kleines Land, which was developed as part of her training and later shown at the Schauspielhaus Graz. Thanks to her multilingual background, her acting age, and her versatility, Tamara Semzov covers a wide range of modern material. Her choice of roles combines contemporary narratives, political themes, and visually experimental approaches, making her an actress who is continuously gaining importance in both independent and institutional circles.
