The Czech actress Tatiana Dyková, born in 1978 in Prague, is one of the most distinguished performers of her generation. She gained early attention for her roles in films by Saša Gedeon, such as *Return of the Idiot* (1999). One of her greatest international successes was Bohdan Sláma's drama *Something Like Happiness* (2005), for which she won the Czech Lion for Best Actress and the Silver Shell at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Her extensive filmography also includes award-winning productions like *Empties* (2007) and the drama *Brothers* (2023), the Czech Oscar entry. In addition to her film work, Dyková is a long-standing ensemble member at the renowned Dejvice Theatre in Prague.
