The filmmaker Thomas Hornemann completed his directing studies at the Hamburg Media School. His graduation film 'Die Übergabe' (The Handover) from 2020 was selected for the competition at the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival 2021, among others. His earlier short film 'STUCK' (2018) had already celebrated its premiere at the Hof International Film Festival. With his work, which often deals with interpersonal tensions, Hornemann is establishing himself as a voice in emerging German cinema.
